Help Us restore local grain economies!
Kneading Conference West is an annual event that brings together professional and home bakers, farmers, millers, researchers, maltsters, food writers, community activists and anyone interested in perpetuating local, delicious, wholesome foods. The purpose is to inspire and rebuild lost grain economies.
During workshops and panel discussions participants learn how to open a small bakery, to add grains to their gardens and farms, why local grain networks make sense, and the myriad delicious ways to convert grains into baked goods, pizzas, and beverages. Please check out the “testimonials” and read some of the excellent articles that describe the accomplishments of the Kneading Conferences in Maine and Washington.
Your support is crucial! Your donation is an investment in educational programs and work/study opportunities. Participant registration fees cover about half the cost of presenting the annual Kneading Conference West; the remaining expenses depend on donations. Your contribution is deeply appreciated!
